JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Feb. 13, 2024) – Sound Payments is pleased to announce that Cesar Rivas is the new senior vice president of operations and national sales executive for Sound POS and Quantum Cloud.
Cesar has served in multiple roles within Sound Payments, including most recently in sales for Sound POS. In his new capacity, Cesar is responsible for overseeing operational and sales aspects of the business such as deployment of equipment and services, customer and sales support, CRM functionality, inventory management and training, as well as overall sales efforts of Sound POS and the Quantum Cloud, two of the solutions provided by the company in the payment services industry.

His background in technology, sales and management are the perfect combination of skills and knowledge required to effectively lead the effort to deliver the cutting-edge technology that Sound Payments provides and coordinate the moving parts in operations. Cesar has been part of the Sound Payments team for more than 5 years, working with other lines of business the company has offered in the past. Prior to joining Sound Payments, he had a successful career at PNC Bank with more than 10 years of experience, where he supported and led teams in 10 newly built branches (Denovo) and provided support to establish the bank in the communities served.
Prior to banking, he worked in technology as a Support Engineer for Compaq Computers and later Hewlett Packard, Cesar provided hardware and software support for mobile and portable technologies to high executives for large corporations.
