SaaS Sales Representative

Responsibilities

  • Active prospecting to gain access to key executives at target client organizations including cold outreach and networking activities
  • Land, expand and maintain a full pipeline of prospects, including ISV, MSP and ISO Clients
  • Delivering exceptional product demos and helping to improve effectiveness of the content
  • Attending conferences and industry events to meet prospective clients and partners
  • Coordinate closely with the VP of Sales on sales strategy, positioning and partnerships
  • Closing deals with new/existing customers
  • Helping Sound Payments refine its sales process to help the company manage its pipeline

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic, reliable and independent self-starter with strong organizational, decision making, positive thinker, solutions driven, problem solving and creative thinking skills with an executive presence
  • A proven sales record (ideally SaaS products in a B2B model), hungry for the challenge of driving growth in a small company with a great product
    Clear ability to think on your feet and manage hard-to-anticipate questions from prospective clients
  • Good sense of humor and solid people skills needed to work effectively as part of a close-knit team
  • Ability to travel, and participate in conferences and professional events
  • Strong networking skills to break the ice, get an understanding of an organization’s potential needs and how Sound Payments can address those needs, and negotiate to drive value-based sales
  • Tech knowledge: strong technical acumen and understanding of an engineering culture
  • A good understanding of early-stage companies and the need for all of us to be flexible in job duties to achieve desired results
  • Required experience and education: 5 years in B2B Sales and a bachelor’s degree (minimum)

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with tech start-ups
  • Background helping scale a sales team
  • Can provide client references and information on B2B deals and SaaS deals that the candidate has personally closed
