Position Overview

Our fast-paced, client-focused office needs a reliable and efficient Junior Level CPA/Accounting Clerk to handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Billing functions as well as some limited reconciliation, records updating & collections activities with a focus on time management. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for streamlining monthly billing procedures, assisting with billing automation, procurement, and revenue reporting. We’re looking for an energetic professional who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats. This would be a perfect role for a recent Accounting college graduate. This position will include full benefits after a 30-day probationary period.

Responsibilities

  • Accounting: Monthly Billing of services & Accounts Payable
  • Maintains and updates Fixed Assets records
  • Processes purchase orders, control inventory, prepare customer invoices and related accounting administration works
  • Processes all employee expense reports and delivers to HR for Processing
  • Develop organizational procedures and systems for filing, billing and accounts payable
  • Order office supplies and equipment as needed
  • Reviews and records contracts/agreements to ensure Billing parameters are setup properly with each new client
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned
  • Serves as Executive Assistant on some office matters

Additional Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the Payments or Banking industries a plus
  • Proven ability to work successfully with limited supervision
  • Experience with CRM such as Zoho or Salesforce.com
  • Financial Reporting and Metrics
  • Experience with budgeting and payroll

Qualifications

  • Associate degree required or equivalent accounting experience
  • 2-3 years’ experience in an office position
  • Excellent Accounting Skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management & organization skill
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and strong integrity
  • High standards for accuracy and quality in a fast pace work environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Advanced computer skills in Quick Books, MS Office with proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint
  • Supply management experience
  • Comfort with fast-paced environment: Ability to multi-task and work productively in a busy, dynamic and fast paced team environment and meet deadlines
